New Years Day

Details:

I haven't posted anything in over a week. That's because I've been working my ass off on this multimedia piece and haven't been able to accomplish anything else because of it xD Ahahahaha.

This piece is very interpretive; it's sort of my own abstraction of something realistic. In case you can't see it in these images, each shape is a cutout from the U.S. Army and Interrogation Handbook, which is used by the army in detainment and interrogation situations, as the title would suggest. I don't really want to talk about it too much, since I'd rather have the meaning thought over on its own (as a matter of fact, I'd ALWAYS rather have it thought over on it's own!)
So that's it. Thanks for reading! Leave me a comment, if you're feeling kind/critical enough to do so!

Probably partly [the first time I wrote party....way tired] because I'm so tired, but I didn't realize at first that they were all the same picture, and that two were just close-ups. The other part of that would be that even the smaller sections like the moon are so awesomely done that they could stand on their own. Not only is it pretty, it's also thought-provoking, like examining the relationships of the separate components. Or in my case, wondering where you obtained/why you have a copy of the US Army's Interrogation Handbook

OH! FUN FACT:
This canvas is 48x24", or something to that effect. So it's pretty big. That's what she said.

Oh, and Steve; I have a copy of the Interrogation Handbook because I'm EXTREMELY anti-torture and I'm very active in the subject, so I use the handbook for research and to help make my arguments more legit =]
